Friends im studying in plus one so i would like to share the question answers of the

 chapter

                                 Going out for a walk

1.what does the author consider as the drawbacks of london?

ans: its drawbacks are its endless noise and hustle and its smoky air and dirt

2.what is the authors' excuse to avoid walking?

ans: becoz he has a lot of letters to write

3.why is the author's excuse ineffective/

ans: it is in 3 ways i.e.,

       * it is not believed 

       * it makes you go to the writing table pretending to be writing letters 

       * it wont work on sundays morning as there is no postal clearance till the evening

4.what makes the author say that walking for walkings sake stoips one's brain?

ans: the authors says so becoz on such an ocassion a persons power to instruct or amuse leaves him

5."tresspassers will be prosecuted"write down two more such wall notices?

ans: *dont stick bills

        * accident prone area
